2027 Windelo 50 Adventure

The Windelo 50 Adventure is a 50-foot catamaran designed for extended ocean cruising with electric propulsion. It was nominated Multihull of the Year by Multihulls World Magazine and combines performance with environmental responsibility through its twin 20kW electric motors and construction using recycled and lightweight materials.

The design reflects input from architects Christophe Barreau and Frederic Neuman, with fuller entry lines than many comparable catamarans to handle a full load of cruising gear while maintaining speed. The yacht carries a powerful rig, modest displacement, and daggerboards to deliver strong performance across open ocean passages without requiring compromises on equipment or comfort provisions.

The layout provides three cabins and two heads. The electric propulsion system delivers full power immediately upon startup with no warm-up period required. The hull beam of 26 feet provides the stability and interior volume typical of the catamaran platform.
