This 1938 Alden yawl was built by the Casey yard in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. At 36 feet, she combines classic design with extensive restoration work completed over recent years. The wooden hull has been carefully maintained through decades of family ownership.
The interior includes two cabins, one head, and a main cabin with rebuilt berths. The galley and cabin house have been reconstructed, and all plumbing and electrical systems are new throughout. The cockpit has also been rebuilt.
The diesel engine has been rebuilt along with its related systems. All standing and running rigging has been replaced, and the masts have been repaired and repainted. The sails are newer. The boat is ready for use, though some cosmetic finishing work remains.
