1948 Chris-Craft 25-ft sportsman

A 1948 Chris-Craft 25-foot Sportsman powered by a 678-cubic-inch Scripps Model 208 inline-six engine with dual spark plugs per cylinder. This model was produced in limited numbers—only 208 built between 1946 and 1950—and represents a classic American runabout design. The boat features green leather upholstery and matching crash pads throughout the interior.

The boat underwent comprehensive restoration work in Michigan in 2012, with extensive documentation of the project on file. During restoration, all major components were replaced or rebuilt. The hull is wood construction. A new dual-axle trailer with alloy wheels is included.

The boat shows cosmetic surface cracks above the waterline acquired from extended dry storage, none of which affect structural integrity or function. All systems remain operational and the boat is ready for use.
