1967 Custom Comtesse

This 1967 Custom Comtesse is a 49-foot German-built classic motor yacht with twin Yanmar diesel engines delivering 520 horsepower and a top speed of 25 knots. The wooden hull measures 14 feet across the beam and weighs approximately 12,000 kg, with a draft of 1.1 meters and stable, seaworthy proportions. The boat has been regularly maintained and modernized over decades, with new engines installed in 2006 and diesel tanks replaced in 2009.

The layout accommodates up to eight people across multiple sleeping areas. The aft cabin holds two separate beds with an ensuite head. Forward of amidships, two sofa-berths can be configured into four beds, with a second head in the bow. The main saloon features an L-shaped seating area with dining table that seats five to seven, while the steering position offers clear sightlines and dual seating. A galley spans the starboard side with refrigerator, four-burner electric stove, double sink, and ample storage.

The yacht is equipped for cruising and coastal navigation with Raymarin Axiom 12RV chartplotter, radar, VHF, and compass. A Westerbeke 6 kW generator supplies 230V and 24V power, with inverter and battery charger. Safety and anchoring systems include electric bow anchor winch, Bruce anchor with 50 meters of chain, electric and manual bilge pumps, and fire extinguishers. Heating is provided by two diesel heaters, and amenities include hot and cold running water, shower, and septic tank with vacuum emptying.
