This 1968 Dyer 29 is a classic Down East design that underwent a complete restoration between 2018 and 2019. The fiberglass hull and deck were repainted, and the brightwork was refinished. The boat is powered by a Cummins 4BT diesel engine producing 150 horsepower, installed during the restoration.
The single cabin includes a head with electric operation, and the interior is fitted with air conditioning and Dometic refrigeration and freezer capacity. A full custom canvas enclosure was added, and the boat received all new electronics as part of the restoration work. The Dyer 29 Flush Deck represents an early interpretation of the Down East lobster yacht style, engineered to cruise at comfortable speeds in various sea conditions.
The boat has been stored indoors in a climate-controlled facility since the restoration, where it continues to receive regular care and maintenance. The combination of the hull and deck repaint, renewed brightwork, and systems upgrades reflect the quality of the restoration.
