1972 Nautor Swan S & S 44

A 1972 Nautor Swan designed by Sparkman & Stephens, this 44-foot sailing yacht combines the classic proportions and seaworthiness of her era with thoughtful upgrades made from 2011 onward. The fiberglass hull measures 12.6 feet at the beam, and the boat is powered by a 46-horsepower Perkins diesel that drives her to a cruising speed of 7 knots with a maximum of 9 knots under power.

The modernization work undertaken over the past decade respects the original design intent while incorporating contemporary improvements in systems and functionality. All upgrades were carried out with care to preserve the character and sailing qualities of the classic Swan design.
