The 1993 Pacific Seacraft 44 is a proven bluewater cruiser built with traditional design and quality construction. This fiberglass hull features a canoe stern, shallow-draft Scheel keel, and full skeg-mounted rudder, paired with a 50-horsepower Yammer diesel engine. Her design reflects decades of offshore cruising refinement, with a large protected cockpit, unobstructed side decks for safe forward movement, and a sailing plan comprising a cutter-rigged setup with full-batten mainsail, roller-furling genoa and staysail, drifter, and storm trysail—all equipped with modern Harken and Lewmar systems.
The interior is appointed in varnished teak throughout, organized in a two-cabin, two-head layout. The forward stateroom holds an offset berth with lounging seat and ensuite head; the aft stateroom features a seven-foot double berth with private head access. The central salon opens with a u-shaped settee to port seating eight, a full-length settee to starboard, and a dedicated nav station. The galley is U-shaped with generous prep space, a 13-cubic-foot refrigeration unit, three-burner gimballed stove, and double stainless-steel sinks.
Onboard systems are comprehensive. The 6-kilowatt Northern Lights generator powers three-zone HVAC, a powersurvival watermaker, and a suite of 2020-upgraded Raymarine navigation electronics including dual multifunction touchscreens with AIS, depth, wind, and speed indicators. The electrical system runs on seven size-31 house batteries installed in 2023, supported by a 150-amp Balmar alternator and Freedom 25 inverter. Twin CQR anchors, a 2006 Lofrans windlass, a six-person Viking life raft, and Zodiac dinghy complete the cruising inventory.
The boat carries 2,148 hours on the engine and 1,814 hours on the generator. Hatches were replaced in 2004 and a bimini added in 2009. The three-blade propeller is feathering type; plumbing includes an 11-gallon-per-minute electric bilge pump backed by a 25-gallon manual pump, plus hot water and pressurized water systems throughout.
