1975 Trawler Monterey Diesel Cruiser

This 29-foot fiberglass trawler was built by Puget Sound Boat Works with a purposeful seagoing design: raked and flared bow, vertical topsides, canoe stern, and a round full keel bottom. The unfinished upper flybridge deck offers an open canvas for customization. The main deck features flush fore and side decks, a deckhouse, and a recessed cockpit, with clean lines throughout.

The interior is split across two levels. The forward section steps down to a v-berth, while the main cabin rises to accommodate a pilot station, galley on the port side, and head and settee on starboard. The pilot station centers around a single swiveling chair with full control, navigation, and communications equipment. The galley includes a diesel-fired stove, sink, and refrigerator.

Power comes from a single Yammer inboard diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 7 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots. The boat carries one head and is laid out for comfortable extended cruising.
