1976 Ericson 36-C

This 1976 Ericson 36-C is a cutter-rigged sailing yacht designed by noted naval architect Bruce King. Built as Ericson's bicentennial model, it was one of only around 65 produced and represents the company's finest work from that era. The fiberglass hull is substantially built and weighs nearly 10 tons, engineered for long-distance ocean cruising in heavy weather.

The yacht features extensive woodwork throughout—exterior teak and hand-laid mahogany cabin joinery give it the appearance of a wooden vessel. The flat deck is spacious enough for multiple passengers, while the cockpit, equipped with a bimini top and newer seat cushions, offers comfort and room comparable to yachts of considerably larger size. A single 20 hp Westerbeke diesel engine provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 6 knots and maximum speed of 10 knots.

The boat has had three owners and has been maintained by the current owner for 16 years. It remains in excellent condition with consistent care and upkeep over that period.
