1985 Catalina 36

The Catalina 36 is a proven cruising and racing sailboat with nearly 2,000 hulls built worldwide. Designed by Frank Butler and constructed by Catalina Yachts, this 36-foot fiberglass sloop combines moderate displacement with responsive sailing characteristics. The design balances conservative cruising principles with racing capability, making it equally suited to daysailing, coastal cruising, or competitive racing—and notably manageable short-handed.

The boat offers generous space both on deck and below. A single diesel Universal engine provides auxiliary power. The layout includes one head and comfortable accommodations for extended time at sea or weekend getaways.
