1978 Gulfstar 50 sail master ketch

This 1978 Gulfstar 50 is a three-cabin center cockpit ketch built from thick fiberglass with a strong rig suited to serious cruising. The boat carries a 50 horsepower Perkins diesel engine, a 6-kilowatt diesel generator, and 480 watts of solar panels. The ketch rig includes roller furling on the headsail and a spinnaker, allowing the boat to be sailed and maneuvered by a single operator.

Accommodations center on three cabins with hot and cold pressure water, a shower, 12-volt refrigerator, and 12-volt freezer. On deck, the boat is outfitted with a dodger, Bimini top, pulpits, lifelines, gates, and a swim platform. Three anchors are included. The cruising speed under power and sail is around 6 knots.
