1979 Cheoy Lee 46 LRC

The Cheoy Lee 46 LRC is a fiberglass trawler built in 1979 to Lloyd's specifications, designed for extended cruising and live-aboard use. She measures 46 feet in length with a 14'8" beam and is powered by twin Ford Lehman 120-horsepower diesel engines with approximately 4,430 hours. The centerline fiberglass fuel tanks provide stability and eliminate concerns associated with iron tanks. A folding mast reduces air draft to 17.5 feet with the bimini lowered, making her suitable for Great Loop transit. The boat features a stand-up, full-beam engine room with excellent access for maintenance.

The interior layout includes three staterooms and two heads. The full-beam master stateroom aft offers a vanity, seating area, ensuite head with granite counter and marble shower, plus extensive storage. Forward accommodations include a V-berth with double-berth filler and a full-width VIP stateroom with island queen berth, both serving a shared updated head with granite walls. The pilothouse seating area can accommodate an additional berth if desired. The galley features a Summit refrigerator/freezer, Seaward three-burner propane stove with oven, microwave, and granite countertops with a farm sink. The main salon is finished in teak with a new upholstered couch and new Hisense TV.

Recent work includes a professional bottom peel and finish completed in March 2025, with blisters addressed prior to repainting and cutlass bearings inspected. New zincs were installed. New amenities include a Bimini top (2025), reupholstered flybridge seating with updated table, a teak swim platform with boarding ladder, and a new washer and dryer forward of the master. Granite countertops and new fixtures have been added to heads and galley. The boat is equipped with Naiad stabilizers, Onan 15kW generator, four Cruise Air HVAC units with reverse-cycle heat, Garmin displays, Furuno 24-mile radar, Wood Freeman autopilot, Starlink connectivity, and dual VHF radios. Electrical systems include eight batteries (two 4D start units from 2025 and six 6V golf cart house batteries from 2020) and a 2,800-watt Heart Freedom inverter.

Anchoring gear includes a 66-pound Bruce anchor with 275 feet of chain and rode installed in 2024, plus a Danforth anchor with 235 feet of rode. An electric windlass, boarding ramp, electric dinghy davits, and comprehensive safety gear complete the deck setup.
