1979 Tartan 37

This 1979 Tartan 37 is a deep draft sailing yacht with a 6'10" fin keel, powered by a Westerbeke 40 diesel engine. The boat has received substantial recent work, including new standing rigging, rebedded chainplates, and refreshed through-hull systems. A newly installed Lewmar V1 windlass with wireless remote control simplifies ground tackle work, supported by 100 feet of chain and 300 feet of rode.

Below deck, systems have been modernized with a new Adler Barbour refrigeration system, Kuma water heater, and Whale Gulper shower pump. The boat carries two new LiTime lithium house batteries managed by a Victron inverter/charger and DC-to-DC charger. Accommodations include a large new Jabsco manual head. A new dodger with polycarbonate windows shelters the cockpit.

The rigging is equipped with a new headsail halyard and mainsheet turning block. Sails include working mainsail and headsail, along with a nearly new storm trisail and barely used asymmetrical spinnaker with ATN sock. The engine features a PSS dripless shaft seal and upgraded 100-amp alternator with Balmar smart regulator.

Electronics include Raytheon Pathfinder SL70 radar, VHF radio, navigation instruments, and compass. The boat is USCG documented.
