1980 Formosa Spindrift 44

This 1980 Formosa Spindrift 44 was designed by Ron Amy and built by Formosa Boat Builders in Taiwan. The fiberglass hull measures 42.68 feet in length with a 12.96-foot beam, powered by an 80-horsepower Ford diesel engine. The boat has been owned by a single operator since launch and has received consistent maintenance throughout its life. In February 2024, the teak deck was renewed.

The accommodation layout includes three double cabins plus additional sleeping space in the saloon. The main living area features a spacious saloon and galley, with air conditioning installed in both the saloon and mid cabin. Two heads are aboard, one serving as a dedicated shower room. All interior woodwork is teak throughout. The boat carries substantial fuel and water capacity, supported by an Onan 6.5kw generator and a PUR Power Survivor 80 II water maker, making extended cruising self-sufficient.
