1985 Morgan 43

The 1985 Morgan 43 is a 43-foot fiberglass sailing yacht with a 13.5-foot beam, powered by a single 50-horsepower Perkins diesel engine. Built for serious cruising, the boat offers a practical layout suited to extended offshore passages.

Below deck are two cabins and two heads. The interior features cushions refreshed in 2024. The boat is equipped with a Village Marine Tech water maker for self-sufficiency at sea, along with davits, an outboard engine bracket, an engine crane, and solar panels for auxiliary power.

Recent additions include a Velair marine air conditioning and heating system with variable-speed soft start installed in 2026, and a full suite of Raymarine electronics from 2024. The sail plan comprises a furling 125 percent genoa and mainsail from 2022, a staysail, and spinnaker with sock. A Bimini top, dodger, and stack pack were added in 2025, along with travel propane tanks in 2024.
