The Corbin 39 is a Canadian-designed and Canadian-built cruising yacht built to handle extended ocean passages. The hull is fiberglass with an Airex foam core and encapsulated lead keel, supported by flush decks and cutter rigging. The generous interior benefits from high topsides and substantial headroom throughout, offering real volume for a boat of this size. Power comes from a single Ford Lehman diesel engine of 80 horsepower.
The layout includes two cabins and one head. Accommodation is arranged to maximize the interior space the hull provides, with careful attention to livable cruising quarters.
The yacht underwent extensive refurbishment in 2024 and 2025. The hull, deck, mast, and boom were professionally repainted. The standing rigging, guardrails, and mainsail are new, as are the sprayhood and bimini. Navigation lights, antennae, and the windlass have been renewed or refurbished, with new remote controls installed. Solar panels, an energy management system, and new batteries support a 12V to 220V inverter.
Below deck, the interior was fully repainted and revarnished with new cabin soles and upholstery throughout. New electrical wiring, plumbing, and interior lighting (touch-sensor white and red cabin lights) were installed where needed. A new air-conditioning unit, new shower, and new electric head complete the refit. The main engine received a full service with new auxiliary components.
