The Furia 37 is a performance cruiser from 1985, designed by the respected French team Joubert & Nivelt and built by Spanish yard Dresport. Built in fiberglass with solid construction and warm timber joinery, this yacht combines clean lines with a timeless aesthetic. At 38.7 feet long with a 12.3-foot beam, it delivers the robustness needed for longer passages alongside spirited sailing performance. Headroom of 1.95 meters throughout the interior ensures genuine comfort for extended cruising.
This example has undergone comprehensive refitting over the past decade. A Craftsman 42 hp diesel engine was installed in 2011 and runs 211 hours. New sails were fitted in 2022—main, jib, and additional headsails in 100% and 150%—with standing and running rigging replaced in 2023. A three-blade propeller is fitted, supported by 125-liter fuel and 200-liter fresh water capacity.
Navigation and electronics are modern and thorough: a Raymarine Element 9-inch multifunction display, Furuno radar, AIS transponder, and full instrumentation including wind, speed, and depth—all installed in 2023. The interior features Webasto heating from 2018, updated cabin sole and upholstery, a manual toilet, galley with two-burner stove and oven, and refrigeration. Electrical power comes from a 73 Ah engine battery, dual 120 Ah gel service batteries, and an AGM bank, managed by Victron charging systems.
Safety equipment includes a six-person life raft, four life jackets, two children's harnesses, dual anchors, manual and electric bilge pumps, backup tiller, and complete offshore safety kit. The hull received fresh antifouling in April 2025, and all systems stand ready for immediate use.
