1981 CT 47
About This Yacht
The CT 47 is a 47-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built in 1981, designed as a capable offshore cruiser. Powered by a 2006 Yammer 75 hp 4JH3-HTE diesel engine with 1,400 hours, the boat carries modern navigation and safety equipment including a Garmin 741XS GPS with radar, forward-looking Interphase Outlook sonar, AIS, Ritchie magnetic compass with Navpod binnacle, and Garmin autopilot. A six-person life raft and EPIRB are aboard.
The accommodations center on a spacious aft cabin with a centerline queen berth. Below decks, an Isotherm refrigeration system, gimbaled Force 10 LPG stove with oven, and updated electrical panel with new wiring support extended cruising. The fuel and water tanks have been replaced with stainless steel units.
Sailing performance is supported by a solid inventory: a 2022 mainsail, yankee jib, 110 genoa, staysail, storm jib, and storm trysail. ProFurl 2100 roller furling, Barient and Barlow winches, Maxwell windlass, and a windvane steering system round out the deck equipment. Ground tackle is noted as good. The bottom has been freshly painted.
