1981 Custom 553' Ropax Night Ferry

This 553-foot RoPax ferry was built in Sweden in 1981 and has undergone major reconstructions: lengthened and rebuilt in 1986, expanded with additional cabins in 1999 through conversion of car deck space, and fitted with sponsons in 2003 for improved stability. The steel hull is powered by four Bürkert & Wolff 8K45GUC diesel engines producing 21,476 kW combined, driving two propellers. The ship measures 168.49 meters in length with a 26.04-meter beam and operates at 19 knots. It holds Ice Class 1A Super designation, enabling unrestricted high-latitude navigation.

The ferry accommodates 2,200 passengers across 1,786 berths in 522 cabins, all air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms. Double and family suites are available, with four wheelchair-accessible cabins and pet-friendly options. The ship spans 11 decks and carries 562 cars across 750 lane meters of garage space, with internal clearances of 1.8 meters on the upper deck and 6.6 meters on the main deck for vehicles. Bow and stern ramps, along with two upper deck ramps, enable vehicle and passenger loading.

Onboard facilities include formal and buffet dining, a pizzeria, snack bar, children's play area, reserved seating lounges, cinema, bars, and a shopping center. Free Wi-Fi and ATM services are available throughout. The ship features generous outdoor deck space and a helipad on the top deck. Last refitted in 2017, the ferry maintains current classification certificates and active operational status with 30,317 gross tonnage and 3,515 tonnes deadweight.
