This 1989 custom-built RoPax ferry measures 528 feet in length with a 95-foot beam, constructed from steel by SS Werft in Germany and classed with RINA. Four Sulzer diesel engines produce 26,264 horsepower combined, delivering a maximum speed of 21.3 knots and a service speed of 18.5 knots. The yacht features twin propellers and dual bow thrusters for enhanced maneuverability.
The accommodation design centers on 435 guest cabins, all with private facilities, providing 1,720 berths across the vessel. Deck space includes two trailer decks capable of handling 118 trailers or trucks, plus 575 cars, with stern and bow ramps for vehicle loading. Two auxiliary Man B&W diesel engines and one emergency generator support hotel and operational systems.
Onboard amenities span two à la carte restaurants, a self-serve facility, pizzeria, snack bar, children's room, and chapel. Public areas feature aircraft-style seating lounges and multiple bars. Wi-Fi and full air-conditioning serve the entire vessel. A major refit completed in 2019 updated systems and infrastructure.
The ferry operates with a gross tonnage of 33,500 and can accommodate up to 2,000 guests. Deadweight capacity reaches 5,200 metric tons at full draft, with operational flexibility through one or two-compartment configurations for different loading scenarios.
