1982 Nauticat 38

The Nauticat 38 is a fiberglass pilothouse cruiser built in 1982, representing the Swedish builder's reputation for seaworthy design and Nordic craftsmanship. She is powered by a 90 hp Ford Lehman diesel engine with approximately 1,900 original hours, paired with a 3-blade folding propeller. Her sails, including a spinnaker with sock, were replaced roughly six years ago.

The interior features warm teak joinery throughout, upgraded Corian countertops, and ultra-suede upholstery. LED lighting has been installed, and the fully equipped galley includes a propane oven and cooktop with hot water system. Two heads serve the accommodations.

The pilothouse layout provides excellent visibility and protection for coastal cruising and offshore passages. Navigation and safety equipment includes radar, SSB radio, GPS, depth sounder, dual VHF radios, and autopilot. Power management is handled by a Heart Interface inverter and charger system, with solar panels providing charging capacity during extended anchoring. A Trinka 8-foot sailing dinghy and custom Fairclough winter cover with poppets are included.
