1985 Gib'Sea 126

The Gib'Sea 126 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruising yacht built in 1985 by Gilbert Marine, designed by Oliver Poncin with offshore capability in mind. The design earned a Cruising Sailboat of the Year award upon introduction. Powered by a single 47-horsepower Perkins diesel engine, this boat combines graceful sailing characteristics with robust construction and straightforward handling across a range of conditions.

The interior layout provides three cabins with flexible sleeping arrangements. Two queen quarter berths aft and two sets of sea bunks forward offer sleeping space for up to eight people, plus additional berth space in the settees. The yacht includes one head and is configured for extended cruising with friends or multiple families aboard.

Built for blue water sailing, this Gib'Sea has cruised extensively throughout its life, including years in the Caribbean and Pacific waters. The boat is well-suited to strong wind conditions and coastal overnights, as well as longer passages.
