The Kalik 40 is a 40-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built on Gary Mull's established design, known for blending cruising comfort with strong sailing performance. The boat suits both offshore passages and weekend getaways, with solid construction and a reputation for seaworthiness.
The interior is laid out with a large salon, well-equipped galley, and generous storage. Two heads and comfortable sleeping quarters accommodate full-time cruising or live-aboard use. A 55 hp Pathfinder diesel engine powers the boat, with 500 hours on a recent rebuild and 2,079 total hours.
The sail plan includes a furling headsail, mainsail that furls into the mast, spinnaker, gennaker, and staysail. Running rigging was replaced in 2020. The teak decks were recently sanded, sealed, and re-caulked in 2023 with no leaks reported. Cockpit and non-teak deck areas have been freshly painted. Two new 80-MHD batteries were installed in 2023, and the engine recently received new oil, oil filter, air filter, and diesel fuel filter. A new VHF radio is fitted, and there is a Magma barbecue on deck. The galley comes fully outfitted with kitchenware and tableware.
