1985 Silverton 40 Aft Cabin

This 1985 Silverton 40 Aft Cabin is a fiberglass sedan bridge yacht powered by two Crusader gasoline engines totaling 700 horsepower. Rebuilt engines in 2018 and 2019 provide reliable performance. The boat's 14-foot beam and single flybridge helm create an open, uncluttered salon layout ideal for entertaining and relaxed cruising.

The accommodation plan includes two cabins and two heads. The master cabin aft features a walk-around bed and ensuite head with storage lockers and cabinets. Forward, a guest cabin and separate head serve additional visitors. The galley amidships on the port side has a two-burner induction cooktop, convection oven/microwave, and refrigerator. A dinette table on the starboard side seats six and can convert to additional sleeping space. A wine fridge is positioned beneath the dinette. Smart lighting throughout responds to voice control via Alexa, and the aft HVAC system integrates with Google Home for remote temperature monitoring.

Comprehensive maintenance and upgrades spanning 2020 to 2025 address systems throughout. Major work includes new wiring, AC units, bilge pump installations, electrical conversion from 30 amp to 50 amp service, four new AGM batteries, raw water hose replacement, propeller refacing, bottom paint and hull treatment, shaft seal repacking, and most recently a new master head toilet and port engine manifold replacement.
