1986 Alsberg Brothers Express 37

This 1986 Alsberg Brothers Express 37 is a racing-proven offshore cruiser built from fiberglass with an 11-foot beam. Powered by a Yammer 3GMF 30-horsepower diesel engine, the boat is rigged for serious performance both upwind and downwind. The yacht carries an extensive inventory of sails including multiple headsails from recent years, two mainsails (a 2017 North 3DL and a 2025 UK Titanium used once), an A-series spinnaker set, and numerous S-series sails for varied wind conditions.

The boat's recent upgrades reflect an ongoing commitment to performance. A carbon rudder and post, a four-foot carbon bowsprit installed in 2022, a foam cockpit added in 2024, and fresh non-skid paint from 2024 enhance both capability and comfort. The diesel tank was cleaned in 2024 and holds 30 gallons, with fresh water capacity of 45 gallons total distributed under the port settee and v-berth.

Navigation and safety systems are comprehensive and modern. The electronics include an ORCA Sailing Processor, Garmin wind and multifunction displays, B&G instruments, a paddle wheel log, and full NMEA 2000 networking.
