A 1986 Kadey-Krogen 42 pilothouse trawler built on the proven full-displacement hull that defined the class for nearly two decades. The rounded chine below the waterline combined with flat topsides delivers exceptional roll resistance and initial stability. A long protective keel provides directional stability and keeps the running gear safe in shallow water. Powered by a Ford Lehman Super 135 diesel engine with 8,866 hours, she reaches hull speed on just 60 horsepower and achieves approximately 2,150 nautical miles at 8 knots, extending to 5,000 miles at 6 knots.

The accommodations include two staterooms and one head. The forward master features a rare centerline island queen berth, while the guest stateroom to starboard offers built-in storage. The enclosed head has a manual toilet, vanity with storage, and a separate shower stall. The galley is equipped with a Princess 3-burner propane range with oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The pilothouse provides port and starboard side doors, a pilot berth aft, and navigation station to starboard with storage beneath the console.

Systems include a Magnum 2812 inverter/charger, Onan 4kW diesel generator, and 320 amp alternator. House power is from a 4 x L16 AGM battery bank. Total fuel capacity is 700 gallons across two tanks, with 300 gallons of fresh water. A Vetus bow thruster, Maxwell windlass with manual backup, and electric davit assist deck operations. Navigation equipment includes Wagner autopilot, JRC MXC33 radar, Lowrance depth sounder, Icom VHF, and Globalstar satellite phone.

The boat features walk-around teak decks, a watermaker producing 600 gallons per day, Webasto diesel cabin heat, and Nova Kool refrigeration. A Titan 14-foot RIB tender with Yanmar diesel outboard is stored on the boat deck. The teak foredeck requires refit. A recent upgrade includes the Magnum inverter for improved power management.
