This 1987 C&C Mark III is a 35-foot centerboard sloop built for racing and cruising. The fiberglass hull has been refinished with three coats of Awlgrip marine paint applied in July 2025. The boat draws 6 feet 5 inches with the centerboard down and 4 feet 2 inches with it up, making it well-suited to shallow anchorages. Power comes from a Yanmar 3GM30F diesel producing 24 horsepower, fitted with a Max Prop feathering propeller.
The rig is modern and well-maintained. Standing rigging is stainless steel rod by Navtec, controlled by self-tailing Barient winches. A Harkin furler handles the jib, while hydraulic backstay and boom vang provide mainsail control. The boat carries racing sails including a UK Tape-Drive Gold jib, asymmetrical spinnaker in a sock, and a racing drifter. Navigation equipment includes a Garmin 4210 chart plotter and an 18-inch Garmin HD radar.
Recent work includes a new shaft seal, coupler, and rotor from June 2025, plus a fresh water pump replaced in August 2025. The Yanmar has 1,186 hours on it. A new starter was fitted in June 2024, and the raw water pump was replaced that July. Electrical systems received updates in July 2024: a new Prosine 20-amp two-bank charger and two 27-series deep cycle batteries were installed. The boat carries a Xantrex Freedom X 2000 inverter, new in the box.
Accommodations and deck features include a navy blue lazy bag and matching dodger from 2022, teak cockpit floorboards, a teak folding table with drink holder, and navy blue Sunbrella cushions from 2018. An ATN top climber bosun chair is aboard for work aloft.
