The Wauquiez Centurion 42 is a high-performance cruiser designed by Ed Dubois and built by Henri Wauquiez. Hull No. 28 dates to 1987 and features a fiberglass hull with solid teak superstructure and deck. At 42 feet in length with a 13-foot beam, she displaces 11 tons and carries a Perkins diesel engine rated at 49 horsepower. The design is known for speed in light winds and stable motion in heavy seas.
The interior accommodates two cabins and two heads. The forward owner's suite spans the bow with a double berth, private en-suite head including shower and external sink, desk, bookcase, and convertible sofa that doubles as a child's bed. The aft cabin is a double guest cabin with private en-suite head. The saloon features an elliptical dinette with large teak table and U-shaped seating for six. The galley is L-shaped and equipped with gas stove and oven, top-loading refrigerator, and secondary wall-mounted fridge. Total berth capacity is seven plus one child.
The teak surfaces on deck and superstructure have been recently treated. The Perkins engine has been mechanically overhauled. The yacht is fitted with NKE Wi-Fi navigation and carries new sails for the 2026 season.
