The 1988 C&C 44 is a 44-foot fiberglass cruiser-racer designed by Rob Ball. Built to a beam of 13 feet with a displacement of approximately 25,000 pounds, the hull sits on a centerboard configuration. Power comes from a Yanmar 4JHE diesel engine with a fuel capacity of 40 gallons.
