2001 Bavaria 43

This 2001 Bavaria 43 is a fiberglass sailing yacht with a 43-foot hull and 13-foot beam. The boat received a substantial engine repower in 2024, installing a Volvo Penta D2-50 diesel with approximately 450 hours of running time, new gearbox, and new saildrive. Additional recent improvements include a fresh bottom job completed in 2024, a new Genoa sail, new AGM batteries, new dodger, and replacement autopilot computer with updated chart plotter and gauges. A three-blade Gori propeller is fitted.

The ground tackle was renewed in 2024 and comprises 215 feet of 3/8-inch chain with a Mantis Marine swivel and 25-kilogram Rockna anchor. The original rigging has been inspected and remains in serviceable condition; the mainsail is original equipment.

Accommodation includes two cabins and one head. The boat is equipped with a Rainman water maker and Starlink connectivity. A 2023 Highfield dinghy with a 15-horsepower Yamaha outboard is included.
