This 1988 Nonsuch 33 is a classic cruising sailboat with a fiberglass hull measuring 33 feet in length and 12.5 feet in beam. She carries a 30-horsepower Universal diesel engine and is rigged as a cat-rig with a carbon fiber mast installed in 1994. The boat features a full suite of modern electronics and mechanical systems built for extended cruising.
The galley is equipped with a three-burner propane stove and oven, an on-demand hot water heater, and Sea Frost refrigeration with both engine-driven and AC compressor options. A pressurized hot and cold water system serves double stainless steel sinks. The electrical setup includes a 110/12-volt system with a 30-amp dockside inlet, three Group 31 AGM batteries, and an Outback automatic battery charger and inverter. Navigation and safety systems comprise B&G Zeus MFD displays with GPS, radar, compass, and AIS; a Simrad autopilot with hydraulic linear drive; Raymarine depth, speed, and wind instruments; and dual Icom VHF radios.
The deck and hull are fitted with bow and stern pullpits with rails, pedestal wheel steering, dodger and bimini covers, double lifelines with gates, and a LifeSling. Rigging includes Barient self-tailing winches, an electric halyard winch, and a Doyle Stack Pack for sail handling. A Maxwell electric windlass manages the ground tackle, while two Rule automatic bilge pumps and an electric head with holding tank handle onboard systems. The engine is protected by a Xintex gas detector and FE 241 fire suppression system, and includes a Racor fuel filter and water separator. A three-blade Flex-O-Fold propeller and Raymarine autopilot backup provide redundancy. Five opening ports and two cowl vents support ventilation throughout.
