The 1989 Riva 51' Turborosso is a fiberglass open convertible defined by its distinctive red hull. One of only 14 units built during the model's 1989–1993 production run, it combines a more developed cockpit than its predecessor with practical dual-purpose spaces throughout. Twin MAN diesel engines deliver 1,640 horsepower, enabling a cruising speed of 35 knots and maximum speed of 42 knots.
Below deck, the layout centers on a spacious dinette with table and sofa on the starboard side that converts to a double berth. The galley sits to port, with the owner's cabin forward featuring a private head, a guest cabin with bunk berth, a second shared head, and crew quarters in the bow. Topside, the cockpit features a U-shaped sofa and electric dining table that transforms into a sun pad, complemented by a wet bar with refrigerator and sink, pilot and passenger seating, and a forward sun deck.
Recent maintenance and refits reflect ongoing care: interior upholstery and cushions were renewed in 2021, along with a new awning and boat cover. Over the past three years, work included anchor chain replacement, hydraulic system overhaul of the cockpit table, new air conditioning pump, satellite television antenna installation, engine room insulation, and engine maintenance.
