The Sabre 34 MK II is a fiberglass racer-cruiser with a shoal draft centerboard keel, built to the high standards Sabre is known for. At 34 feet with an 11-foot beam, she's designed for both performance sailing and comfortable cruising. Power comes from a Westerbeke 30 hp diesel with just 1,150 hours, and she cruises at around 6.5 knots under sail or engine.
Below deck, there is one cabin with a single head. The boat carries a comprehensive suite of sails including a 135 square foot headsail. Navigation and safety equipment includes a Garmin GMR Fantom 18 radar, a Garmin GPSMap 10-inch plotter, and a Furuno depth and speed sensor. A 6-gallon water heater, four stainless steel cowl vents, and solar power (115W SunPower panel with controller) support extended cruising. The ground tackle consists of a Mantus 35-pound anchor with new chain and rode. Deck gear includes newly installed davits for dinghy handling and a new bimini with dodger connector.
Recent work includes a repainted mast and boom, a freshly painted bottom with two coats, and engine maintenance encompassing a new exhaust elbow, water pump, thermostat, engine hoses, and impeller. The stuffing box packing has been replaced. Electrical systems feature Odyssey AGM batteries, a ProMariner 30-amp galvanic isolator, and a new ProMariner battery charger. New Isinglass completes the exterior updates.
