1989 Viking 45 Convertible

The 1989 Viking 45 Convertible is a refined fishing and cruising yacht built to exacting standards. Twin Detroit Diesel engines producing 970 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 18 knots and maximum speed of 25 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 45 feet in length with a 15-foot beam, providing a solid platform for extended time at sea.

The plan-C layout offers two private staterooms and one head with shower. The dinette converts to additional sleeping berths, accommodating up to six people total. This configuration balances private quarters with social gathering space, making the yacht practical for family cruising and entertaining.

Recent maintenance includes new propellers and bottom paint. The hull has been freshly compounded and waxed. Engine oil analysis on both main engines returned normal results, indicating sound mechanical condition. The yacht was built during a highly successful production run; Viking constructed approximately 250 of this model between 1987 and 1993.
