1989 Wauquiez Centurion 47

The Wauquiez Centurion 47 is a proven ocean cruising sailboat built on a fiberglass hull with a 47-foot length and nearly 15-foot beam. Powered by a 60-horsepower Perkins diesel engine and rigged as a sloop, she cruises at 7 knots and draws shallow enough to access anchorages beyond the reach of larger yachts. The boat is well-equipped for extended passage-making and anchoring out, with solar panels and a wind generator providing independent power generation at sea.

The deck features teak in good condition with a practical layout centered on safety and function. A deep cockpit, well-positioned controls, protective dodger with canvas bimini hoops, and abundant handholds throughout support comfortable and secure handling. The Vectran mainsail is fitted with lazy jacks and jiffy reefing for simplified sail management.

Over the past five years, the boat has undergone a series of refits touching all major systems, and mechanical equipment spares are on board. The yacht is in working order and suited equally well to active cruising or extended living aboard.
