1990 Hatteras 58 Sportfish

The 1990 Hatteras 58 Sportfish is a fiberglass-hulled fishing yacht powered by twin Detroit Diesel 16V92-TA engines producing 2,700 horsepower combined. The boat features a custom retractable tuna tower, a sprawling flybridge with dual helm stations, and comprehensive fishing equipment including outriggers, live bait tanks, fighting chair, and rod holders distributed throughout the 175-square-foot cockpit. A 14-foot tender with 60 hp outboard is included.

The interior was substantially renewed in 2018 and sleeps six across three staterooms, each with an ensuite head and shower. The master stateroom features a queen walk-around bed and cedar-lined closet. Forward is a VIP stateroom with a double island bed, while a guest cabin offers over/under bunks. The main salon includes a large L-settee with storage, entertainment center, wet bar with icemaker and blender, and full galley with Corian countertops, Vitrifrigo refrigerator and freezer drawers, Miele dishwasher, GE Profile four-burner electric stove, and Advantium convection microwave. A washer/dryer is integrated into the accommodations forward.

Recent extensive work completed in 2025 includes a complete hull bottom stripped to fiberglass, epoxy barrier coat system, fresh paint, and full detailing with polish, wax, and buffing. Both propellers were rebalanced, tuned, and polished. Twin Northern Light 20kW generators were installed new in 2019 with 592 hours on one unit and 11 hours on the other. Navigation electronics include Furuno GPS/radar/depth, SIMRAD autopilot, and dual displays, complemented by KVH HD satellite television and closed-circuit engine room cameras. The boat carries an 880-nautical-mile range and features modern systems including a watermaker, bow thruster, Cruisair air conditioning with four units, automatic bilge pumps, and hydraulic steering.
