1999 Viking 55 Convertible

The Viking 55 Convertible is a 55-foot sportfishing boat powered by twin MAN diesel engines delivering 2,600 horsepower combined. Built on a fiberglass hull, she reaches speeds of 31 knots and cruises comfortably at 28 knots. The design balances performance and seaworthiness with the accommodation and amenities needed for extended offshore runs or weekend trips.

The interior comprises three cabins and two heads arranged in a spacious, functional layout. Accommodations are comfortable and well-suited to multi-day voyages, with ample berth space throughout.

The engines were replaced in 2006 and completed a 1,000-hour service in April 2026. The helm features upgraded Garmin electronics, ICOM radios, and a Fusion stereo system for navigation, communication, and entertainment. Engine monitoring is handled by LED MMDS digital gauges that display load, coolant temperature, fuel consumption, and other critical data in real time. The boat has been regularly maintained and benefits from thoughtful updates throughout.
