1990 Island Packet 27

This 1990 Island Packet 27 is a fiberglass sloop built for cruising comfort and manageable coastal sailing. The boat spans 27 feet with a 10.5-foot beam and draws power from a Yammer 2GM20 diesel engine rated at 20 horsepower, which has logged 1,100 hours. Three sails are included: mainsail, jib, and staysail, all in good condition and last serviced three years ago.

The interior is ready for immediate use, outfitted with cookware, cutlery, plates, and pans. Recent upgrades include a new holding tank with corrosion-resistant inner coating, updated topside antiskid, and an entirely refurbished dodger with extension completed in 2023. New safety equipment—flares, fire extinguishers, and related gear—has been installed throughout.

Maintenance work completed this past year includes bottom paint applied with Interlux ACT during summer haul-out, new lines (partially installed and partially stowed), brightwork sanded and oiled, and the hull and smooth surfaces polished and waxed. The engine was winterized and serviced in the fall. Service records documenting prior work are retained on board.
