This 1990 Trintella 49A is an aluminum centreboard cutter built for serious offshore cruising. Measuring nearly 50 feet with a 15-foot beam, the yacht combines a strong aluminum hull with a centerboard design that enables shallow-water exploration and global passagemaking. She is powered by an original Perkins 4.236 diesel engine and carries new Genoa and mainsail fitted in 2025.
The accommodation comprises three cabins and two heads. Forward, twin bunks with lee cloths lead to a heads with full-height shower. The aft cabin features a queen-size double berth alongside a second heads with full shower, and the saloon offers comfortable seating to starboard with abundant storage throughout.
The yacht received a major refit in 2013 and has been continuously upgraded since her purchase in 2022. Recent work includes hull epoxy and antifouling, rod rigging testing, new canvas, engine service, topsides respray, new anchor winch motor, cleaned fuel and water tanks, and a suite of modern systems: new radar, solar panels, batteries, fridge, and Webasto heating. The teak deck remains in good condition. The centerboard configuration allows access to remote anchorages and passages that deeper-draft yachts cannot reach.
