2016 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS

The 2016 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS is a 49-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for extended cruising and weekend passage-making. The deck salon design offers exceptional space and visibility, while the high-performance hull delivers responsive handling despite her size. Power comes from a Yammer 75 hp diesel engine paired with a bow thruster installed in 2023.

The three-cabin, two-head layout provides comfortable accommodation for family and crew. The distinctive three-part cockpit includes twin steering wheels, an open-air salon with bench seating arranged around a wooden table, and an additional lounge area. A shoal-draft keel aids maneuverability in shallow waters.

Sail handling is supported by a furling mainsail, electric primary winches, dual electric Genoa winches, and a powerful electric windlass with secondary helm control. The boat carries a comprehensive electronics suite: a 4 kW radar, exterior E125 GPS, Raymarine autopilot with gyrocompass and PC interface.

Below deck, the galley includes a three-burner stove with oven and grill, microwave, and electric flush heads. Climate control is provided by air conditioning and a 7.5 kW generator.
