1991 Amel Super Maramu

This 1991 Amel Super Maramu is a 52-foot cruising sailboat built for ocean passages. Hull number 43 of the series, the boat underwent a comprehensive refit between 2021 and 2023 that addressed all major systems: the 80 hp Yanmar diesel engine, rigging, sails, power generation, electronics, and interior furnishings were all renewed or restored. Documented refit costs exceed 150,000 euros.

The Super Maramu accommodates four cabins and two heads, a layout designed for extended cruising. The boat's reputation for reliability and seaworthiness has made it a favored platform for long-distance voyaging.

The yacht has had two previous owners. The first used it seasonally in the Mediterranean; the second commissioned the recent refit in preparation for extended cruising. A marine survey from January 2023 is available.
