2000 Amel Super Maramu 2000

The 2000 Amel Super Maramu is a 52-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built for serious offshore work. Powered by a single 78 hp Volvo diesel engine, she combines the proven hull design of the Super Maramu line with practical systems suited to extended voyaging in tropical waters.

The layout includes two cabins and two heads, offering comfortable accommodation for cruising couples or small groups. The boat is equipped with a stainless steel solar, wind, and davits arch aft. An Onan genset and Lofrans anchor windlass are aboard for cruising convenience.

Recent maintenance and upgrades include new standing rigging professionally installed in January 2022. The Volvo main engine received a full head service covering valves, guides, gaskets, and fuel injection components in November 2023, followed by 50 hours of running time. The Onan genset underwent complete rebuilding that same month and has 20 hours on it. The mainsail furler motor was replaced in November 2023, the fuel tank was fully cleaned in January 2023, and the anchor windlass motor was rebuilt in 2023.
