This 46-foot Grand Classic trawler combines proven fiberglass construction with twin Caterpillar 750 hp diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. The hull measures 14.48 feet at the beam, offering a solid platform for extended cruising or live-aboard use.
The boat has received substantial mechanical and systems upgrades. The engine room includes new fuel tanks in aluminum, rebuilt starters and alternators (50 amp), fresh engine hoses throughout, new sea cocks and strainers, and head gaskets on the starboard engine. The exhaust system and risers are new, supported by a Northern Lights 12 kw generator with new armature coatings. Power management is handled by the generator alongside the main engines.
Below deck, a new Isothermal 12-volt refrigeration and freezer system provides temperature control. Navigation and automation have been modernized with new Garmin plotters, radar, and autopilot systems. The ground tackle includes a 60-pound CQR main anchor and 45-pound secondary anchor on roller, plus two Fortress aluminum anchors.
An AB aluminum RIB tender with a 15 hp Yamaha outboard is included, launched via a custom dinghy crane and 12-volt winch. The bottom paint and propeller coating are new applications. This trawler is equipped and ready for extended voyages or permanent residence afloat.
