The Sea Ranger 45 is a fiberglass trawler built in 1983, powered by a single 120-horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine with a cruising speed of 12 knots. The boat has a beam of 17 feet and carries 800 gallons of diesel fuel and 400 gallons of water. A Northern Lights 13.4 kVA diesel generator provides electrical power.
The yacht offers three staterooms accommodating six berths, plus a saloon with a sofa bed. Two heads include shower, toilet, and sink facilities, each equipped with Lectrasan sanitation systems. The galley features granite countertops, and the boat is outfitted with three air conditioning units: 9,000 BTU in the aft cabin, 11,000 BTU in the saloon, and 9,000 BTU in the forward cabin. A large 15-by-15-foot aft deck and expansive flybridge provide outdoor space.
The engines were rebuilt in 2002, and the boat underwent a full overhaul in 2005. Additional equipment includes a davit, stainless steel anchor with chain and rope on a windlass, and an entertainment system. The boat carries electronics for navigation and operation.
