This 1991 Ocean Alexander 520 Pilothouse is a 52-foot fiberglass cruising yacht powered by twin Detroit diesel engines totaling 800 horsepower. The pilothouse design features a curved staircase providing access to the wheelhouse, where full electronics including Raymarine radar and GPS, Simrad autopilot, and Standard Horizon VHF radios support navigation. Dual side doors from the pilothouse open to full walk-around decks, and a rigid bimini enclosure with complete flybridge coverage extends the yacht's usable space.
Below deck, three staterooms and two full heads provide comfortable accommodation. The forward master cabin includes a queen/king berth with ensuite head and stall shower. Two guest cabins—one with a double berth and one with twin-over-under bunks—share a guest head with shower. A washer and dryer are installed in the first guest stateroom. The U-shaped galley sits on the salon level with a full-size refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, convection/microwave oven, and three-burner cooktop. The salon features a sliding teak door to the cockpit and abundant natural light.
Systems include a Westerbeke 8kW generator, Xantrex 2000W inverter, Marine Air heating and air conditioning, bow and stern thrusters, and VacuFlush heads. A Zodiac 12-foot rigid inflatable tender with 30HP Honda outboard and davit system completes the package. Recent work includes new bottom paint and shaft seals completed in June 2026, along with port turbo and turbo elbow replacement, new BBQ with custom stainless housing, and smoke/fire/carbon monoxide detectors. Extensive upgrades from 2019 through 2026 address major systems throughout the yacht.
