This 1992 custom steel cutter was designed by Bruce Bingham and built by Marine Metals Inc., a respected Chesapeake Bay shipyard. The 47-foot yacht features a deep center cockpit and 6-foot 6-inch draft, proportions suited to ocean cruising. A single Yanmar 4JH diesel engine of 57 horsepower was installed in 2020 and has accumulated fewer than 200 hours.
Navigation and weather systems include B&G electronics with Halo 20+ radar and plotter, plus a Raymarine multifunction display offering charting, sonar with deep and side-scan capability, and true and apparent wind instrumentation. The standing rigging is 1x19 stainless steel fitted with StaLock mechanical terminals. The main sail features in-boom roller furling, and one of the twin forestays is equipped with a Profurl roller-furling system.
The hull was recently blasted, faired, and refinished by Panhandle Marine. The deck is well maintained, and the paint is serviceable. The yacht is rigged and equipped for extended offshore passages across any ocean.
