A 1998 Beneteau Oceanis 461 designed by Bruce Farr, this 47-foot fiberglass performance cruiser combines contemporary comfort with capable offshore design. The three-cabin, two-head layout provides ample living space, centered around an airy salon with generous headroom. Power comes from a single 75-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine, capable of a cruising speed of 5.5 knots.
The boat has undergone substantial upgrades in recent years. New mainsail and genoa sails were installed in 2023 and 2024 respectively, with a custom davit arch and 870-watt solar array added in 2022. The electrical system received a complete overhaul, including a new 640 amp-hour lithium house battery bank installed in October 2025, a Victron Multiplus 3000 inverter/charger, and a Garmin 943 chartplotter with 18-channel HD+ radar. Navigation and onboard systems include Raymarine autopilot, wind direction indicator, depth sounder, and AIS, alongside full VHF communications.
Interior equipment includes an Isotherm Cruise CR 200 refrigerator/freezer, Eno two-burner stove with oven, two Jabsco manual heads, and a Cruise RO 30-gallon-per-hour watermaker. Four Lewmar self-tailing winches—two 44s and two 54s—manage the sail systems. The ground tackle comprises a 33-kilogram Rocna anchor with 350 feet of 5/16-inch G4 chain and a Maxwell HRC 10-8 electric windlass, along with a secondary Danforth anchor. Fuel and water tankage total 52 gallons and 120 gallons respectively. An OC Tender 330 inflatable dinghy with a 15-horsepower Tohatsu four-stroke outboard from 2022 is included.
Deck amenities include a bimini top, cockpit cushions, swimming ladder, shower, and protective covers for the helm and instruments. The boat cruises comfortably at 5.5 knots with a maximum speed of 8 knots.
