The Edership Symbol 52 is a 53-foot fiberglass cruiser built in 1992 with twin turbocharged Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines producing 435 horsepower each. The yacht reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots and cruises at 12 knots with a range of approximately 600 nautical miles. Twin fuel tanks hold 2000 liters, and fresh water capacity totals 1500 liters. A 70-kilogram Mantus M2 anchor with bow roller system provides ground tackle, and the boat is equipped with a Highfield CL290 rigid inflatable dinghy with a Mercury 4-horsepower outboard.
The interior features wall-to-wall teak cabinetry throughout. Accommodations include three double cabins, each with ensuite facilities. The saloon and dining area benefit from 16,000 BTU air conditioning, as does the master cabin. The galley is fully equipped with a microwave-oven combination, hob, air fryer, and domestic washing machine.
Power systems have been substantially upgraded and include a 6.5-kilowatt Cummins Onan generator, a 1200-watt solar array paired with a Victron Multiplus 3000/50 inverter-charger, and a 920-ampere-hour house battery bank for off-grid capability. Navigation and electronics comprise a Raymarine Axiom 7 chartplotter, Raymarine VHF with AIS and GPS, and autopilot. Starlink Gen 3 satellite internet is installed. All seacocks have been replaced with TruDesign nylon components. A bow thruster is fitted for maneuvering. The engines have accumulated only 800 hours.
