The 1992 Guy Couach 1602 is a 51-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin GM diesel engines producing 1,100 horsepower total. She cruises at 13 knots with a maximum speed of 20 knots and is equipped with trim tabs for improved handling.
The main saloon features a bar counter and an electrically convertible sofa bed, with the option to restore the original bench seating configuration. The galley is well-equipped with a combined microwave oven, three induction burners, dual refrigerators, a small freezer beneath the oven, an ice-maker, an integrated washing machine located in the aft hold, and a sink with starboard companionway access. The pilothouse also opens to the starboard passage. A large satellite television antenna serves the saloon. Four cabins and four heads accommodate extended cruising and living aboard: a spacious owner's cabin on the foredeck with its own head, plus three guest double cabins below, each with an en-suite shower and electric toilet.
The flybridge is fully enclosed with canvas, creating a second living space complete with a grill and ample forward sunbathing area. Additional deck amenities include a hydraulic gangway, two electric aft winches, a perforated cockpit awning with a separate white sun cover, a second bimini and camping kit on the flybridge, and a forward sunbathing platform. A rigid inflatable tender with outboard motor is included.
Navigation and convenience systems include GPS, radar, autopilot, VHF radio, compass, helm indicator, depth sounder, and speedometer. Onboard power is managed by a 6.5 kW generator with 410 hours of use, plus battery charger and converter.
