1993 Nautor Swan 40

The 1993 Nautor Swan 40 is a fiberglass sailing yacht built for serious offshore cruising. The design combines a deep keel and balanced rig for excellent windward performance and stable behavior in sea state. At 40 feet in length and 12.9 feet in beam, she displaces 10,000 kg with 3,170 kg of ballast, providing the stability and power characteristic of the Swan range. A Yanmar diesel engine of 53 hp provides auxiliary propulsion. The standing and running rigging were updated in 2015, and the deck hardware includes a Harken system with powerful winches for controlled handling.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and two heads with teak joinery throughout. The saloon and galley feature a three-burner gas cooker, double sink, and large top-loading refrigerator. A Webasto air heating system with three outlets provides warmth. Navigation systems include a Raymarine plotter, and the electrical setup runs 12V and 230V. The boat carries 250 liters of diesel fuel and 425 liters of fresh water.

The yacht has been progressively updated since 2012. The teak deck was replaced in 2023, along with new deck hatches. The running rigging was renewed in 2015. The onboard radio was upgraded in 2022, and electrical and sanitary systems have been serviced. She is presented ready for sea.
